Dumpster Rental in Louisville Built by Locals

Jimmy Harlan started Louisville Dumpster Rental Pros to handle the practical needs of homeowners and contractors across Jefferson County. Operating from the base at 1228 W Breckinridge St, the company focuses on roll off dumpster rental that fits the narrow streets and older housing stock found in neighborhoods such as Germantown, Butchertown, and Old Louisville.

Hot summers and mild winters shape the schedule here, with steady demand for cleanouts and construction projects year-round. Crews know how to place containers on the sloped lots near Cave Hill Cemetery or along the riverfront without blocking access in tight alleys common in The Highlands and Clifton.

Service reaches from Downtown and Shawnee out to St. Matthews and Crescent Hill, plus runs toward Lexington and Elizabethtown when needed. Jimmy keeps the operation hands-on so every job matches the actual conditions on the ground in Portland or around the Falls of the Ohio.

I grew up in Germantown and spent years hauling debris from renovations in Old Louisville's narrow streets and the bigger lots around St. Matthews and Crescent Hill before starting this outfit in 2012. Jefferson County's older housing stock and our humid subtropical swings—hot summers that push crews to finish early, mild winters that keep jobs moving—showed me how important on-time roll off dumpster rental really is when you're working near Churchill Downs or the Falls of the Ohio. We keep the trucks rolling from our spot at 1228 W Breckinridge St, open Mon–Fri 8am–6pm and Sat 9am–2pm, helping crews in Butchertown, Portland, Shawnee, Clifton, and even runs out toward Elizabethtown or Lexington.
